Dangers of Critical Thinking

I recently came across short statements and posts regarding the dangers of Critical Thinking. The various authors in such posts called critical thinking to be breeding intolerence as far as non analytical measures of thought were concerned. One such author clarified that critical thinking down plays the importance of snap decisions and rash decision, which according to the author are sometimes a normative path for certain professions or lifestyles. Does Critical Thinking breed conformity in a way of thought, and how does it stand up to this allegation?
